I was awarded the Hall of Fame Style Coach™ of the Year 2025 Award from the Style Coaching Institute last year and I’m just getting to writing this!
If you saw the video of me crying when they called my name … just know that reaction was VERY real.
I originally got certified through the Style Coaching Institute® back in 2015. Since then, I’ve continued learning, growing, showing up, evolving, and pouring myself into this work for years.
So when I attended the ceremony via Zoom(no camera ha!), I genuinely thought I was just there to support everyone else.
I truly did not think I was going to win.
And I think part of why it hit me so hard is because sometimes in life, when you’ve worked REALLY hard for a very long time without much recognition, you quietly stop expecting anything.
You just keep going.
You keep building.
You keep trying.
You keep showing up.
You keep helping people.
You keep hoping all the hard work means something someday.
I never really won awards growing up.
I wasn’t the kid constantly getting trophies or recognition.
So to receive something like this in my 40s honestly felt emotional on a much deeper level than just “winning an award.”
It felt like:
“Wow… somebody actually sees how hard I’ve worked.”
And I think a lot of people can relate to that feeling.
Sometimes we work incredibly hard and still feel underappreciated. Sometimes people only see the highlight reel and not the YEARS of effort, pivots, insecurities, rebuilding, risk-taking, sacrifices, persistence, and growth behind it.
This award felt like a moment where all of that was finally acknowledged.
And if you want to read the official interview and feature from the Style Coaching Institute®, you can check it out there too.

As Seen on The Jennifer Hudson Show
One of the coolest moments last year, and probably one of the biggest reasons I won, was appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show and getting to talk about personal color analysis on such a huge platform.
Watching people discover how much color can impact confidence, energy, presence, and visibility has been incredible.
Because once you see the difference, you can’t unsee it.
The right colors make you look brighter, healthier, more vibrant, more radiant — without changing anything else.
That’s why I love color analysis so much. It’s not about strict fashion rules. It’s about harmony, confidence, and helping people feel more like themselves.
What This Award Really Means To Me
More than anything, this award reminded me that sometimes the things you quietly dedicate your life to do matter.
Even when growth feels slow.
Even when nobody claps yet.
Even when you doubt yourself.
Even when you wonder if all the work is paying off.
Keep going.
XO
Rayne
